I spent over a decade making a living day trading. It was a wild ride and, at first, I was barely able to put food on the table. Eventually though, I felt that I had mastered the fickle winds of the market and was able to make a comfortable living. 

I developed a simple set of rules to follow to safeguard me against market volatility.

I had friends who were early adopters of cryptocurrency who were doing even better though. They had become millionaires many times over, practically overnight it seemed!

I had serious FOMO. I knew that I had to start investing in cryptocurrency.

Of course, just my luck it seemed, I started investing in 2018, right before the first so-called crypto winter. I couldn't believe it! My comfortable nest egg that I'd built up seemed to be vanishing overnight! Panicked, I took out my money.

My friends in the space kept what they called a HODL (hold on for dear life) mentality. I took a step back to assess. I saw the volatility in the market and felt that I was looking at something very familiar.

During, so-called crypto winters, the charts looked very similar to the assets that I'd spent a decade honing my skills to profit from as a day trader. 

Where others saw chaos, I started to see opportunity.

I tested some of the simple rules that I'd established as a successful day trader and, lo and behold, they did not disappoint. 

I made more money during the so-called crypto winter of 2018 to 2020 than I had my entire life.

My trading friends and I always share information. If you establish a successful pattern, getting more people to follow your pattern increases everyone's success.

After our successes during the first crypto winter, I'm expanding the circle. I'm trying to teach as many people as possible the investment tools and techniques that made us so successful.
